    2017 Pool Rules

The 2017 CKSC Board of Directors has approved the following Code of Conduct and General Rules applicable to the Cherry Knolls Swim Club facilities and sanctioned activities.

The Cherry Knolls Swim Club is a private club sustained by membership fees and donations.

    Code of Conduct:
Cherry Knolls Swim Club (CKSC) strives to create an atmosphere of respect and courtesy. Appropriate social behavior and treatment of others is expected of all CKSC members and guests. Cherry Knolls Swim Club has long been a hub for neighborhood social activity where individuals and families can relax, enjoy and celebrate Summer in Cherry Knolls!

To keep the CKSC atmosphere safe and enjoyable for everyone, abusive behavior will not be accepted or tolerated of anyone participating in any CKSC activities or during the use of CKSC facilities. Boisterous intoxication, audible profanity, reckless behavior or any action that would likely lead to the endangerment of others is strictly forbidden and is cause for immediate disciplinary action.

Any CKSC contracted staff person or Board Member shall be authorized to enforce the Code of Conduct along with any rules and regulations applicable to the facility or sanctioned activity. Verbal instructions or warnings provided by CKSC staff or Board Members must be followed as they are applicable to the Code of Conduct and General Rules. Any person acting contrary to the aforementioned standards, repeatedly violating any general rules or willfully causing damage to CKSC property may be subject to:

    • A verbal warning
    • An indefinite suspension of the privilege of using CKSC facilities or participating in CKSC sanctioned activities.
    • Revocation of membership.
    • Legal action

CKSC Members and guests are encouraged to report problematic behavior to a CKSC Board Member in the event said behavior is not addressed by CKSC staff at the time of the occurrence.

Members are allowed to bring guests to the Club upon paying the appropriate guest fees ($3.00 per individual). These fees shall apply to pool and facilities use. Non-members will not be allowed to use the facilities unless accompanied by a member, 12 years of age or older.
